Bob Horne
Interim Chair
Bob has been on the Board of Directors for over 14 years and is a past Chair of the Board. He is a member of the Building Committee. He is a representative of the Anglican Diocese of Toronto on the Board. Bob is on two other Boards involving seniors. He is an Electrical Engineer from U of T with experience in design, project management and construction. He worked for IBM Canada Ltd. in Facilities Management and Construction for 30 years and Rogers Communications in IT Project Management for 10 years.

Reginald Liu
Secretary
Reginald has combined his passion for healthcare with a deep understanding of business. Now retired, he is enjoying the opportunity to explore new interests and stay connected to the community. Reginald had a rewarding career as a Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacist owner until 2020. He has also been a consultant pharmacist for long-term care facilities. Reginald served as a teaching assistant for the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.

Michael Gregory
Treasurer
Michael began his professional career in Jamaica as the Research Economist at the National Housing Trust and later made a switch to commercial banking occupying various positions including Credit Analyst, Branch Manager and Corporate Relationship Manager.
In Canada, Michael worked with one of the big 5 commercial banks for 10 years in the area of anti-money laundering and has the Certified Anti- Money Laundering Specialist designation.
Michael holds BSc Economics (Hons) and MSc Economics degrees from the University of the West Indies.

Rev'd Canon Dean Mercer
Director
Francis Dean Mercer holds a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Doctorate in Theology from Trinity College, University of Toronto. He is the incumbent parish priest of St. Paul’s L’Amoreaux Church and a member of the St. Paul’s Centre Board since 2005, previously of St. Theodore of Canterbury. He has been an instructor at Wycliffe College from 2000 to the current date. He is a member of various committees and groups within the Diocese, and volunteers as an assistant coach for house league baseball and hockey.

Ortega Tapambwa
Director
Ortega is a strategic and results-driven real estate and infrastructure professional. With a strong background in land development, commercial negotiations, and market analytics, Ortega has optimized multimillion-dollar real estate deals. Most recently, he served as a Senior Advisor at Infrastructure Ontario. His expertise spans real estate finance, risk management, and sustainable urban development. Ortega holds a Master’s in Economic Policy & Planning from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s in International Development from York University. A passionate advocate for financial literacy and economic empowerment, he actively mentors young professionals.

Hayley Crosdale
Director
Hayley moved to Canada from the warm and sunny island of Jamaica in 2016. In Jamaica, she held many positions within JN Group, a large financial institution, including Assistant Branch Manager and Financial Advisor, and served as a member of the Board of Stewards of the Trinity Moravian Church for 5 years. Hayley has worked at Centennial College for 8 years as a Financial Advisor. She holds a diploma in Business Education, a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration. She loves to bake and is currently enrolled in a Baking and Pastry Arts Management diploma program at Centennial College.

Anne Burnett
Director
Anne immigrated to Canada from Barbados in 1967. Anne began her career at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in 1970 and, over the course of 45 years, held several leadership roles, eventually retiring as a Manager. Throughout her career she was known for mentoring her team/direct reports and colleagues, providing financial guidance to clients on money management, while establishing strong relationships with her team members and colleagues.
Now enjoying retirement, Anne devotes much of her time to her church community. She is an active member of the St. Paul’s L’Amoreaux choir and serves on several committees. She has been involved in numerous church activities including fund raising, food fairs and walkathons.
